Why You Need a Personal Injury Lawyer

When you or a loved one is injured in an accident, perhaps the last thing on your mind at that moment is taking legal action to gain compensation for your accident claims. It should, however, enter your mind right after you check to see if anyone was injured and after you call 911 for help. When negligent behavior by someone else caused your accident and injuries, you need immediate legal representation.

Which Business Formation is Right for You?

Starting a new business operation is an adventure filled with choices, starting from the very first moment when you have to decide which business structure will best suit your current needs and expectations. One of the most important business decisions you ever will make is your choice of business formation options. Don't be surprised when this choice comes up later on, as your business grows, and you discover it's time to expand into another type of business structure to meet those new needs.

What are the Benefits of Mediation?

Mediation is an alternative method of dispute resolution offered at Harris Cook, LLP, in Arlington and Flower Mound, TX. This process offers both sides an opportunity to come to an agreement without going to court. It saves time and money when successful, and is commonly used to resolve domestic disputes over divorce issues such as property division, child custody or visitation. For civil damage cases and disputes over contract issues, Mediation offers many benefits over full Litigation.

Help Mansfield Win the Mayoral Red Kettle Challenge

The Mayoral Red Kettle Challenge is a long-standing holiday tradition in Mansfield and nearby towns. The challenge, also known as the Salvation Army Mayoral Challenge, began in 2009 with the mayors from Arlington, Dalworthington Gardens, Kennedale, Pantego and Mansfield competing to raise the most money for the Salvation Army. Last year, Mayor David Cook and his fellow city council members stood at the Walmart on Walnut Creek Drive, and raised more than any other town in the challenge. They'll be back at the same Walmart this year on Saturday, December 12, from 10am to 8pm and they're hoping to break records this year. Arlington mayor, Jeff Williams, will be at the Walmart on Randol Mill Road at the same time and is looking to take the challenge. Help support Mansfield this year by heading out to the Walmart on Walnut Creek Drive and donating!
